This is a letter to my beautiful readers, written to let you know what’s been going on lately and why I literally fell off the face of the earth. About a month ago, I packed my entire life into a few suitcases and moved to New York City. This transition has been quite an adventure to say the least and I have been crazy busy trying to settle in and find my place in this massive city.
After a little over a month of getting lost in the subway system, drinking way too much coffee, playing volleyball, and trying to “college”, I think I have finally begun to figure out this new life of mine.
In honor of new adventures, here is a little film of some beautiful moments and people.
Now here’s the thing. Living in this city requires a lot of prioritizing. Between copious amounts of homework, keeping up with a social life, buying groceries, and trying to find a moment to sleep, I have neglected putting some of that time towards myself. I have found it extremely difficult to be constantly creating and I am working on giving things like filmmaking a place in my life again. It is what I am most passionate about and I am responsible for finding the time.
I started this blog because I needed a reason to keep creating. Lately, this project has been put to the side, but I am making a vow to myself and my readers (“hi mom!”), to keep improving and to keep making.
The month of October is kicking off a new era in this website and I will try my absolute hardest to keep it up to date and a top priority.
Here’s to hoping that putting this into writing will keep me accountable.
All The Best,
